  John Bautista      
 
John Bautista, a partner in the Silicon Valley office, is a member of the Emerging Companies Group, which advises emerging companies and venture capital firms. Before joining Orrick, he was a co-founder of Venture Law Group and served on the Executive Committee. Mr. Bautista previously practiced at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. Mr. Bautista focuses on emerging companies, and represents both public and private high-tech companies and venture capital funds in many areas, including corporate and securities law, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, public company representation, and technology licensing.
 


 
  Prem Jain      

Prem Jain is Senior Vice President/General Manager, Server Access Virtualization Business Unit.  Prem recently re-joined Cisco Systems after the acquisition of Nuova Systems which he co-founded.  Prior to Nuova Systems, Prem spent 12 years at Cisco in various positions including SVP, Routing Technology Group, VP of New Business Ventures and VP/GM within Enterprise Line of Business.  Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Jain was at Crescendo Communications as Vice President of Systems Architecture, and was responsible for the design and development of Crescendo's FDDI products as well as the first LAN switch, now known at the Cisco Catalyst 1200. As Director of Engineering for David Systems, Mr. Jain architected and developed third-generation integrated Data and Voice PABX equipment.  Prem Jain is the recipient of two patents and is a member of the IEEE organization. He holds a B.E. degree with honors from BITS Pilani, India, and a Masters degree in EECS from U.C. Davis. Mr. Jain is actively involved in volunteer work for non-profit organizations, fundraising for the homeless and helping San Francisco Bay Area schools.




  Michel Langlois      
 
Michel Langlois is Senior Vice President, Chief of Staff for the newly created Collaboration Software Group which focuses on bringing on-demand Business Applications to various markets. Currently, Michel focuses on the integration of WebEx into Cisco, an acquisition of 3.3B that was made in April 2007. In that role, he oversees the operations of the acquisition, its go to market strategy and recommend to senior staff, the right approach to maximize this strategic investment and identify the opportunities in the emerging Software as a Service (SaaS) and Collaboration market.  Prior to that, Michel was the Senior Vice President of the Network Software and Systems Technology Group (NSSTG), the company leader in embedded software development, systems delivery, and architecture.  Prior to this role in NSSTG, Langlois served as Vice President of Packet Technology in the Internet Technologies Division (ITD). Langlois previously led the Internet Service Architecture in the Chief Technology Office, where he won the first Cisco Pioneer Technology Award for innovation, risk taking, and teamwork. Langlois joined Cisco in 1994, as the lead of the Cisco IOS Software infrastructure team, focusing on next-generation programs and projects for software and tools. As a Director in ITD Engineering, Langlois was responsible for Cisco IOS Software architecture and development, and served on the Cisco IOS Council, reviewing key engineering and research activities.
